Fordy
Hi all, as a long-time old car tragic and stamp collector, I am fortunate that there is a merger of sorts between the two hobbies. Whilst my actual garage is home to only 8 old cars, I have thousands of others represented in a thematic collection of vehicles. The cars on this issue have been eluding identification for quite some time and seeing the wealth of knowledge in this "what is it?" section of the forum I thought I would post it. I would guess that if I had some knowledge of Arabic the car names would be there but since it's not in my education and nor do I know anyone who would be able to read it, the picture is here for "best guesses" or better still positive ID. Fordy
Here's another one for ID please. Top left?? Top right - Bugatti but what type is it supposed to be? Bottom Left - Bentley? Bottom right - Alfa?? The other 3 ?? - I won't even attempt to guess. Any positive ID's greatly appreciated - Unfortunately the catalogues I have don't list these as they are not regarded as legitimate postage issues but merely revenue from sucking in the collector market.
