CALLS ONLY IF YOU ARE INTERESTED. NO TEXTS. 1965 AMC Rambler Marlin. Very rare! These were only made from 1965-1967 and only around 17,400 were built. Factory 2 tone colors, red and black. Car is original except for radiator and the repaint of the factory colors. 327 V-8, with a 3-speed shiftable automatic made by Borg Warner. She is in very good shape, interior in great shape except for the driver's seat has worn fabric. Dash and steering wheel in great shape. Bucket seats, console, floor shifter and arm rests. Runs and drives great, has new 4-barrel carb and muffler. The grille, chrome bumpers, all chrome trim and bright work is in great shape. Selling due to too many cars!

Many car model designs tend to gain in appreciation, acceptance and, popularity over the years since they were manufactured.

Unfortunately, this is not one of them.

I was surprised to see a couple of '67 Marlins for sale online this last summer. I was surprised because it's the lowest production year, and the rarest to find today. It's also the nicest looking year and my favorite.

 

The nicer lines of the '67 make it less "quirky" than the '65 and '66. But...after looking at the '67's for a while I felt like I missed the visual quirkiness of the earlier cars! 🤨I guess the '65-6's are starting to grow on me.
