Leif in Calif
looks like a nice car! Haven't seen a disc brake conversion on a MoPar product of this vintage...doen't seem very necessary but I read years ago that Porsche considered LA freeways as the ultimate test of breaking systems because you might need a panic stop at any time. https://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst/cto/7561806830.html 1939 Desoto S6 custom 4 door touring sedan. Disc breaks, front suspension done as well as back, new interior ,runs 65-70 on freeway no problem ready for new owner. email: 6ac2d538ca0a3833be53b0e5164a2a44@sale.craigslist.org
suchan
I didn't see any mention of overdrive, but does 65-70 in the freeway? Does it come with noise-cancelling headphones? Makes me nervous to drive on LA freeways in a modern car, let alone something 83 years old, disc brakes or not. Nice car, though.

When I was a kid, we'd pass through LA on vacation. My mother would lay down in the back seat because she couldn't bare to watch!
