Leif in Calif
Most Model A speedsters you see are just a radiator, cowel, 2 seats and a gas tank. That configuration would be seen as old fashioned by the end of WW1. While I would not call this attempt elegant, it's much more period correct. The Thunderbolt engine is also interesting: It uses an adaptor to fit a 28 Chevy (2 intake port) head. https://susanville.craigslist.org/cto/d/standish-1930-ford-model-speedster/7546875612.html 1930 Ford Model A speedster, thunderbolt OHV conversion, dual carbs, motor has all the fixings, homemade aluminum body, steering wheel, nice tires. First photos are as it sits now and the last ones are of it mocked up with parts I’ve been collecting for it. It’s been sitting for 2 years, starting it occasionally, needs a good tune up and she’s ready to roll, contact for more info 15k obo email: 577ba4dbeb243506a498e9fa06d037ac@sale.craigslist.org
