Maybe part of an amusement park ride or manufacturing machinery, especially with 6 attachment eyes. Maybe someone was just tired of tripping over loose extra spring leaves! Gunsmoke Posted September 23, 2022 Share Posted September 23, 2022 (edited) Obviously just a bunch of similar springs bolted together, 3 main plies and couple secondary ones, normally a set has the gradually shorter springs at bottom (except transvers springs). If center bolt is removed, you could lay the main springs on top of one another to see if arcs are all the same. Likely a front spring (rears are usually longer). If I recall when I restored a 1931 Chev the shackle pins were about 3/4". Sets usually have 6 to 8 plies.
