trim protection question

RIVNIK

Recommended Posts

greetings! for parts prone to pitting, such as clamshells, rocker moldings, trim below rear window, taillight bezels, etc., what is the best protection, a clear coat enamel, polyurethane, or a coat of wax? Or is there something even better?                                         Thanks! as always, your expert advice is greatly appreciated.     Drew

In my opinion, I think just meticulous maintenance such as washing and waxing. (I use Nexgen on my chrome parts. Coating them with enamels or paint products is only going to deteriorate and leave your trim looking dull or chipped up.
