You should give them a test and see if they are any good.

I'm not a T guy. Can you direct me to a spot on the internet that shows how to test them properly.

Or give an explanation.?

UPDATE- I found the info . All 5 past the resistance tests and all vibrate when tested.

I had to file the points on three of them and adjust the gap.

6 volt dc to the bottom and topmost lugs on the coil should make the points buzz. That should tell if they are at least not fried. Don't touch the other lug while testing or you might see stars!
