Can you direct me to a spot on the internet that shows how to test them properly. Or give an explanation.? UPDATE- I found the info . All 5 past the resistance tests and all vibrate when tested. I had to file the points on three of them and adjust the gap. Thanks for input , I learned something. JFranklin Posted September 9, 2022 Share Posted September 9, 2022 6 volt dc to the bottom and topmost lugs on the coil should make the points buzz. That should tell if they are at least not fried.
