Jeff Perkins / Mn
Interesting car on FB, not mine and I have no connection to the seller. link: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1751398538530992 “Selling a 1930 American Austin roadster. Somewhat of a survivor with 46K showing on the odometer. Motor is a GOOD running flathead 4 cylinder motor of 750cc. No smoker coming out of the tailpipe. Transmission is a 3 speed non synchromesh. Fuel tank cleaned and coated. Brakes actually work as this type of car had questionable brakes. Fabric top original as are side curtains. Seats covered in old fashioned oil cloth. Original fabric underneath maybe in good condition. Rust appearing in lower cowl and panels underneath doors. Needs kingpins. New tires. RUNS AND DRIVES. I have driven car about 1K. At car shows attracts more attention than 100K restored cars. Asking $9,999.” Edited August 6, 2022 by Jeff Perkins / Mn (see edit history)
Leif in Calif
Pretty cute. They need to have someone stand next to it so you understand the size. That motor is 45 cubic inches.
supercub
Pretty cool. I usually gravitate toward the oddballs at cruise night first an then glaze over the concours.
