Good thing it's not $40K, that would be too high. Looks nice but color and interior will limit buyers.

1950 Mercury Monterey flat head V8. 255 cubic inch 2 barrel carb 3 on the tree transmission. Solid tires perfect interior restored 8 years ago. Not a scratch in the candy apple red paint.  All chrome has been redone and perfect. Notice the Grill. Not a Monterey.  
the Monterey was the deluxe version with vinyl top, chrome garnish moldings and special trim.  
Mercury’s version of Ford’s Crestliner. 

Both cars dress up models to hide the fact that they didn’t have a hardtop to compete with GM cars.
