31 LaSalle
I have a 1928 Chrysler 72 does anyone know the thread pitch of the spark plugs they measure 22mm or 7/8 I want to purchase an adapter to reduce to 18mm for my compression tester thanks
JV Puleo
The thread is the old SAE standard, 7/8-18. This is not a standard thread and is not commonly seen elsewhere. To make an adapter, I'd use the shell of an old "take-apart" spark plug. You'll have to thread the inside of the shell for the compression tester. 2
