Buick35
Hi,I got new window channel for the driver side door window on my 35 buick.I managed to bend it this time without kinking it.The trouble is when I went to install it I can't seem to get it to slide down into the door. Would greasing it with something help? Thanks.
Dave39MD
I had to slide new window channel and used tire mounting lube. It was rubber on metal. I was considering using dawn and a little water but I am not sure what you are facing. Dave
Buick35
Thanks, mine goes I a wood framed door with a metal channel at the bottom. The new stuff that I messed up the first time slid in o.k. but the second piece looks to be the same width but has like a rubber coating on the outside so the dawn might help.
