Barn find 1925 Jewett Touring project car. Possible hot rod project. Stored in a dry barn since the 1970's.

Too bad the engine looks toast.  If you could get it up and running with a probably near impossible to find engine,  I would strip the remnants of the touring body off the back and make it into a roadster pickup.  The main shettmetal looks pretty good. Price is cheap enough,  I'm sure a rodder will grab it and do just that.

Looks can be misleading. For the most part the engine appears to be all there which is a significant part of the battle. I had an engine that looked very rough but it had been in dry storage and unloved since 1933. I was shocked as could be when it turned out not to be seized-up. Now if only all the missing bits and pieces had been at hand life would have been perfect.
