By 1975 that would have a 350 right?   Not a 455.  Ad doesn’t say.

Bucket seats with column shifter doesn’t make sense to me either.   I’d want the center console shifter.

Yes this appears to have a 350 in it.  I believe a 455 was an option but Joe P. knows a bit more about Oldsmobile performance and maybe he will confirm. 

 

I look at this car as a muscle car platform, not necessarily a straight on restoration.  You either like Collonades - I do - or you think they are a bad mid 70's excuse for styling.  My grandmother had a Cinnamon Brown 1973 Cutlass Supreme.  I love them.  

 

If this car would have come along in my 3 car heated and A/C man cave garage days 10 years ago, I would have purchased.  I agree a full length console and shifter would be better, but at least it has the swivel buckets.  The 350 Olds motor can be robustly built to about 325 horsepower, and backed by a more efficient TH350 - a person would have a fast ride.  

 

But I would be more tempted to prep a 455 with Mondello and aftermarket infused parts, swap in a bulletproof TH400 and maybe a 3.23 posi and then you have a nice muscle car.
