mechanician
I bought this tank for one of my cars, but it is just a bit off in one dimension so let's see if anyone else can use it. It is a nice, original, early copper tank, probably for a runabout or small touring car. I would say probably pre-'10. Heavy gauge with patina and originality. Needs a new outlet connection and cap. There are a couple small dents to the top edge (see photo 2 and 5, likely would not even be visible when mounted under the seat) and a very old solder repair in one corner. $150 as is, where is. The copper would cost that to make one. See dimensions in photos.
alsfarms
The tank even has slosh baffles in it....which is good! I will measure the seat of an early project and see if I have room to fit this tank in. Al
brasscarguy2
I think Rambler used a copper tank. brasscarguy
