Walt S
Yesterday the horn on my 82 convertible started honking continuously while park in my garage with the motor off. I stopped it by disconnecting the battery. The Chassis Service manual describes the horn circuit, but I have not been able to locate the horn relay. Where is this relay located? Chasander
Had a 83 Le Sabre that did that, the rubber in steering wheel had swelled up. (If I remember right).
Harpozep
Mine is doing the same thing. 1982 Convertible. I'll be opening the steering wheel up and investigating. I can hear all sorts of circuit crackling/ crinkling cellophane sounds as I turn the wheel. T-Type Steering wheel. I'd like to change it to a normal Steering wheel too. Harpozep
I took some photos of the dreaded horn failure design. My foam was a fine dust. Now to figure out an alternative design. I'd like to have a working horn in my '82 Riviera.
