I think he has a 2 or 2 1/2 ton truck.. His picture of the ID plate next to the steering column has the numbers 23621029 and below that is the bore 3 5/8" and stroke 3 13/18 or 13/16".. any idea if this motor is a 361 or bigger? oldIHtruck Posted December 22, 2021 Share Posted December 22, 2021 GMC had a 228 ( pick up trucks) a 236, 248, a 270, and a 302. The 228 had a 3-9/16" bore. The 248 had a 3-23/32" bore.
