motoringicons
Here is a nice, original LaSalle stone guard assembly. It measures about 35 1/2" x 21"overall and has a real nice cloisonne emblem. It is in very clean original condition and I think could be cleaned up a lot better. I think it will fit 1929-1932 LaSalles but might fit the earlier cars as well. If someone knows the exact years for this, please let me know. The price is 250.00 plus 50.00 shipping within the USA. I accept PayPal for payment. Please email at: motoringicons@hotmail.com or call 734-730-4274. Thanks. motoringicons
A couple of people have asked if this is the same stone guard used on similar year Cadillacs. I really don't know. Obviously the emblem wouldn't be correct but maybe it is dimensionally the same? Cad/LaSalle experts please chime in..........
yachtflame
No! The Cadillac stone guards have a rounded bottom. The LaSalle ones are straight across the bottom. Also, each year of LaSalle stone guards are different. The 1927/28 is certainly different from the 1929 which is different then the 1930. 1930 and 31 will interchange but they’re not exactly the same. Most people wouldn’t notice the difference. To sell your LaSalle stone guard properly, you’ll have to find out which year it’s from.
jim43
It doesn't have the crank hole cut out as do early LaSalles, when was the useable crank hole discontinued by LaSalle? Jim43
yachtflame
1927/28 and early 1929 had removable inserts. Later years you has to remove the stone guard if you wanted to hand crank.
