nzcarnerd
This one has apparently been puzzling people for several years. I think that is a 1928 NY plate but the car looks to be no later than 1924 by the skinny tyres. Presumably something less common. Or maybe not a 'regular' factory body? West Peterson
Pierce Arrow, I think, with a custom experimental body by one of the metal producing companies. I thought it was Alcoa, but I can't find the story.

The back end looked so familiar to me and then I remember thinking it looked like the back end of a Pierce Arrow on a video Jay Leno did. I just pulled that video up again and it looks just like the backend of his 1918 model 66 pierce The previous owner tells an interesting story about how that trunk design came to be.
