cron1984
Good Morning, I am in search of a voltage regulator for a 1938 Oldsmobile F38. I inherited this car from my grandpa and am in the process of restoring it. The regulator I pulled from the car is a Delco Remy 5807, which was out for restoration but the gentleman doing the work has his doubts about getting it to function. The shop manual states the correct regulator is a 5814. If anyone has any leads on where to find this part, any workable solutions, or an interchangeable part as I know these are rare, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. PlymouthPE
Looks to be one that fits the bill on eBay.
cron1984
Thank you, I think I did see this, but wasn't too sure since it was quite different (sorry, electrical is way out of my wheelhouse). I think it's worth the $40 gamble. Thanks again for passing it along.
