RSayak
I am looking for a 1937-39 Mopar overdrive, or more specifically T86A-1 transmission with R6 overdrive preferably from a 1939 DeSoto or 1939 Chrysler C22 Royal with the electric overdrive. I will however consider any other non-fluid drive overdrive 3-speed with top cover that was originally bolted to a 6-cyl Chrysler, Dodge, DeSoto or Plymouth. We would like to add overdrive to a 1938 Dodge D10 so we can cruise with today's traffic. 24Chry48
I have a 36 Chrysler transmission with overdrive. I have it loaded in my truck to go to Hershey. I do not know the history, other than I got it from California from someone who sold the entire drivetrain and suspension to street rod his car. I have not come up with a price yet, but somewhere around $500 including the shift lever and shift knob. Sold it at Hershey. Flathead Terry
I know this is an older thread but thought I'd ask anyway. I too, am looking for a overdrive transmission for my 1937 Plymouth P4 coupe. Any help/guidance is appreciated.
