chris rence Posted August 15, 2021 Share Posted August 15, 2021 Hello, I have a 1956 Packard that has never had any issues, last night drove it home, stopped the car, put it into park and turned it off. This morning the car started and when i pushed drive nothing happened (tried all gears). only when I put it in reverse do I see the generator gage drop a little) no actions from the other selections. I have checked all of the fuses, the safety function looks like it was removed based on all of the posted data and photos. I have tried to rock the car but nothing changed. As of now i have a great looking car in front of my house. Any insight would help, even a way to get it into neutral so I can push it. 8E45E Posted August 17, 2021 Share Posted August 17, 2021 Does it actually shift when pushing the buttons? Or does it remain in Park. If the shifter does not move at all when depressing the pushbuttons, are you parked on an incline?
