58L-Y8
What should the oil pressure be at idle?
sunnybaba
The oil pressure is fine for this car with this engine... It is... and should be between 10- 15 lbs pressure at Idle... real nice care... for sure it will set you back to a slower pace of life at a different time.... no hurry, no worries......... 58L-Y8
Thanks to posting the information. Engines in that era didn't run high oil pressure at idle. And yes, this '34 Chevy is a time machine to transport one to an earlier era when a slower pace of life was the norm.
Buick35
I just wondered because my 35 Buick has about 30 psi at idle. I guess yours is fine.
