GasWorksGarage
Had anyone remove the transmission on a 56 Continental? Can it be done without pulling the converter and housing? Looks awful tight. Any help would be appreciated.
Oldtech
According to Mr. Chilton the gearbox and converter housing must be removed together as there are 2 bolts behind the converter. that hold the housing to the transmission case. If it's a Mark II you have to pull the engine.
