drdon
Do I need a special puller to get the steering wheel off the post? I need to send the gear in for refurbishment/rebuilding. I have had the wheel off years ago but forget what I used then. Edited November 25, 2020 by drdon Bad senrence (see edit history)
nvonada
Your 37 wheel is probably very similar to my 41. You do need a puller, not hard to make. I used a Harbor Freight bearing separator, some threaded rod, and parts from a pitman arm puller. (tape was for protecting the paint) Worked perfectly and total cost around $20. docwiese
What model 1937 Stude do you have? Would you might have extra parts for a 37kk do you? Such as the tail light Bezels or headlight rims?
nvonada
Sorry, my car is a 41. But the wheel mounting is the same!
