Hans1965
Does anyone here know where I can buy the gasket between reservoir and hydrolectric pump for my 53 Buick Roadmaster Riviera? Or has diameter and thickness? It is a simple rubber gasket I guess. The one one my car was handmade and has just fallen apart. Hydro-e-lectric does not have it on their website. Thanks a lot! 1953mack
Rubber is correct but I couldn’t find them listed in Steele Rubber Products’ online catalog. Gasket, power unit pump reservoir Group 14.486 Part # 4161896 I.D. 4 1/2" O.D. 5” Thickness 1/8” Interchangeable with many 1946-1954 Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Cadillac and Chevrolet pumps. If you’re not in a big hurry, try finding one at the next Buick Nationals swap meet. Al Malachowski BCA #8965 “500 Miles West of Flint”
Fr. Buick
Between pump and reservoir is a funky oval with two small wahers to serve as spacers. I can send you an original with spacers and you can hand make a new paper gasket. PM me and we can talk more.

Unfortunately no Buick National swap meet in Germany.
