I guess that depends on how close to the top 20 % of income your household lies. 80 % of us would be hard pressed to swing the transport and import costs let alone the vehicle price. But that still leaves lots of people who do have the means. The touring would be a bit more within reach of more of us. Still , the Trans Atlantic factor is a gulf bridged by $ and not just a little. I have contemplated it a few times, but the extra cost always has become a deal breaker. Transport + Customs and tax on the whole ball of wax.
