Jeff Perkins / Mn
One of my passions is hiking. I enjoy the state parks in Minnesota, one reason is there are a lot of abandoned homesteads. If there is a ravine nearby one can often find lots of junk in there as the homesteaders used ravines for dumps. Very often I find car parts, many of which we can identify the manufacturer. Ford Model T and A parts are most common. I found this hood for a car while hiking in a park today. I have never seen one like this. Nearby was a fender that was mangled pretty good but I will include a couple of pics of it anyway. Can anyone think of what these are from . I am guessing pre 1915 as the fender was only about 8” wide. Thanks to anyone for rendering an opinion. Mark Wetherbee
I think you found the grave of a Dodge going by the high hump on the fender...
