Dave Morrison
I hope I have finally navigated my way to the forum. During the war I lived with my grandfather. He had a Zephyr with a floor mounted gear shift. I believe he said it was a '36. What year or years could it have been?

Colin Spong
1936 and 1937 Zephyrs had the gear shift on the floor. 1938/39 the gear lever was inside the center console, protruding out of the side of the console. 1940 on wards was a column gearshift.
