This is an late-1930's to 1940's BUICK dealer promotional thermometer. This neat thermometer is from the same BUICK series of dealer promotional items as the BUICK miniature road construction sign ashtray that you may have seen. This excellent condition thermometer reads “BUICK” below the mercury tube. The Bakelite base is embossed “It’s Hot. Better Buy BUICK”. Measures 3” high. I’ve seen a number of this particular BUICK dealer thermometer over the years, and It would be hard to find a better example of this thermometer these days. NOTE: Please pardon all the dust on the Bakelite base. I didn't notice that before taking the photos. It's clean now! The price is $85, plus the shipping. Thanks for looking.
