Yes, the fact it was a service car was not in doubt. I was surprised to see the Six badge on the radiator. I have seen the eights with their badge but not sixes. I think it must have only been used for a short time as the later sixes don't usually have it.

 

The Hup six engine is not very big - only about 200 cid from memory. I reckon they would have found the car not up the job as a service car in the way the more common Hudsons and Cadillacs (and the Buicks and Studebakers that some used)  were.
