tony1970 Posted September 17, 2019 Share Posted September 17, 2019 Hi Murray pull the speakers out ,on the speaker it should tell you the ohm if they are delco factory speakers the ones in the rear are 10 ohms if I am not mistaken,you can buy these on ebay size 4/10 for the rears.the fronts I never replaced. Barney Eaton Posted September 18, 2019 Share Posted September 18, 2019 You could also have a problem with the audio coming out of the radio. A rather common problem is "poping" sometimes very loud. One of mine would start out very weak volume, I would turn the volume up and then I would need to turn it down. At some point it would pop very loud and the volume would go to nothing...........then slowly return. This problem is some capacitors on the output circuit. there is something like 7 little disc capacitors that fail.......you want to replace all of them.
