pont35cpe
I have a `36 Buick 3w coupe, today when installing the transmission to the back of the engine(engine is on a dollie)I`m standing over the trans and noticed a set of stamped numbers on the top of the case just behind the shifter plate. So anyways I thought those numbers look familiar, they`re the same numbers as the plate on the side of the frame(serial numbers). Are all Buicks like this? Guess I`ve got the original transmission..
Glassesguy
I found that to be true on my 37 as well. That is how I was able to establish that the transmission was original to the car. The engine itself was missing. I made a post on this a few years ago; but I don't recall any response by others. Maybe your post will cause others to verify this on their cars.
