Restorer32
Years ago we worked on an early '60s Apollo, built in California. Buick engines if memory serves. Has anyone ever seen one at a show or elsewhere? Lost contact with the owner so have no pics to share. Looks like they stole the body style from Ferrari except they were built before the Ferrari they resemble.
8E45E
I believe there is mention of it in a 1975 issue of the old Car Classics magazine, which was called "Quarter Century Chronicle", which had a listing of all new US and Canadian new cars from 1946 through 1971, or so. It included one-off eccentrics such as the Aurora, Sur-Vival, and backyard operations, including the Apollo, and Omega. Craig
Walt G
A fellow here on long island had one in his collection, pretty neat car. Have not seen him in some years as he was in his late 80s some time ago. The Apollo had very little leg room in it , you could hardly get your feet in , I do not know how he ever drove it and he was not a big guy.
