Guest
This postcard photo was taken during or just after WWI. I know all the people but wondered what the car might be. It is used as a prop for photos. I don't really need to know but many here like to show their knowledge. Any guesses?
nzcarnerd
I have no idea what it is yet but that control lever close up under the front seat must be a distinctive feature. I suppose the 'chains' on the rear wheel are part of the mountain atmosphere, to go with the backdrop.
just me
I believe it's a two cylinder REO. Not sure of year. 1905-07 had wood fenders. 1908-10 had metal fenders. Leif Holmberg
As "just me" say, Reo 1908 looks right. Leif in Sweden.
Guest
Thank you "just me" for the suggestion and Leif Holmberg for the photo. The mountain background would have been an attraction in Winnipeg.
