Jolly_John
I know the 1940 BUICK ad slogan was "Best Buy's Buick". However, I believe the slogan "Best Buy Buick" was used in the late 1950's or early 1960's. Can someone tell me what the model year was for "Best Buy Buick"? Thanks. John_S_in_Penna
Are you thinking of the slogan, "Better Buy Buick"?
Jolly_John
No, John, not "Better Buy Buick"...which I believe was used by BUICK in 1938 and then again in 1942. I have a nifty BUICK dealer promotional item from the early 1960's (that era tri-shield logo), with the slogan "Best Buy Buick" on it. Unless the dealer or the promotional products vendor just made it up....which could have happened, I guess. John
8E45E
That could be a local dealer promotion. The most common ones, at least nationally, are, "When Better Cars Are Built, Buick Will Build Them", and "Wouldn't You Really Rather Have a Buick?".
