Guest
Found this great photo on another thread here. What year/model is the Packard?
Grandpa
1933 or 1934 Packard Coupe.
Grandpa
The Packard factory picture in Post #2 is a 1934 model year; the hood side door vent handles are a match to the Packard to ID. Also, since the unknown car has half-door construction, I believe that Packard may have called the body design as a "Coupe Roadster".
K8096
The Packard in post #1 is also a 1934 Packard Eight. The 1933 coupe had a much higher roofline. Many of these 1934 bodies had the top cut off and were made into convertibles in the 1960's-90's.
JACK M
That girl sure looks short next to that car. The cigarette must have stunted her growth.

Maybe someone can come up with the exact height figure for the 1934 Packard coupe? Women were shorter in those days. Average height then maybe 5' 1"?? Nowadays about 5' 4". There are still plenty of very short women out there. In this part of the world, with so many immigrants from South East Asia, I reckon the female average height has gone down again. Guest
If you've ever had the chance to see the vintage hand/foot prints in cement in front of Grauman's Theater in Hollywood, the thing that surprises most people is how tiny the women's foot prints are.
