1953mack Posted October 26, 2018 Share Posted October 26, 2018 (edited) Here are 10 items for starters . . . • bare block (has a 1”x1” access hole used to find the painted-yellow tooth on the flywheel for ignition timing; a 1"x1"metal cover snaps over the opening when not checking out the timing) • pistons (domed head profile) • crankshaft oil baffle • oil pan • early dipstick (shorter) • fan pulley on early 1953s before harmonic balancers were used mid-1953 production • spark plug covers • starter and starter splash pan • early two and four-barrel Stromberg and Carter carburetor models • four-barrel carburetor’s air cleaner/silencer Could be more.
