jps
I have the normal wood wheels on my 1929 standard. I recently bought a set of 5 wire wheels to upgrade, but what else do I need - drums or hubs or ??? Does anyone have some of this to sell? Thanks. Leif Holmberg
This is what I have on my 1924 4 cyl.Buick, they are ASH Wire Wheels Detroit. To change your 1929 Std to wire wheel you need hubs and hub caps.To find the Wire Wheel are a lot easier than to find the hubs .ASH Wire Wheels ended in 1924-1925 I think.Wheels made by Hook or Buffalo are what you need I think.? Thriller
This site may help: http://www.29buickphotos.com/ I have the artillery wheels on my 29-51 and will keep it that way. I think Bill McLaughlin had each type of wheel (disc, wire, and artillery) for his car.
