Marty Roth
Last year for the Flathead engine First year for Tail Fins A convertible Cadillac is always a good choice. It appears relatively solid and a good candidate, either as a fixer-upper driver-quality, or the basis for a quality restoration. Parts are available to bring it back to former glory. I currently enjoy my 1941 and 1954 Cadillac convertibles. Nothing else seems to have that look and feel that tells the world that it is exceptional. Good luck with your decision. If it is affordable, get it and enjoy putting it back on the road. You will smile for miles. Marty Roth
There are too many variables extant in your project for a guess at pricing. You must decide on what you wish to do with the car, and then discuss with a reliable shop, one which is recommended by people you trust. Quality work is not cheap, and cheap work is rarely quality. The car deserves proper work, but you may be able to find an original, or an older restoration, well done and well maintained for a price much more affordable than having this one restored. they are out there. It is less expensive to get one already done than to start from this leevel. Network, talk with friends, join clubs, advertise your wishes - you'll do well in the long run. I did !! Janousek
Your going to be easilly North of 20-30k to do the upholstery and make it a safe, enjoyable driver if you do nothing but write the checks.
