MrEarl
Back lighted showroom displays were used by dealerships beginning in the 1950's to "illuminate" and show off the new models (sometimes referred to as a Light Box Transparency) as well as to display the various exterior color combinations and interior upholstery (Showroom Color/Upholstery Display) Have one? Let us see it here. Extra points for showing it in operation.

Pete Phillips
My '61 display, with the light on. I'll repeat: Anyone who has one of these, please send me a good photo of it (can't use the low-resolution ones pulled off of this website), and I would like to put them in the Buick Bugle magazine--make an article out of this. Let's see how many different years we can come up with. Pete Phillips, BCA #7338 pphillips922@gmail.com 1
