Show Us Your BACKLIGHTED SHOWROOM DISPLAYS

Recommended Posts

Back lighted showroom displays were used by dealerships beginning in the 1950's to "illuminate" and show off the new models (sometimes referred to as a Light Box Transparency) as well as to display the various exterior color combinations and interior upholstery (Showroom Color/Upholstery Display)

Have one?  Let us see it here. Extra points for showing it in operation. :D

My '61 display, with the light on.

I'll repeat: Anyone who has one of these, please send me a good photo of it (can't use the low-resolution ones pulled off of this website), and I would like to put them in the Buick Bugle magazine--make an article out of this. Let's see how many different years we can come up with.
