I am posting a name and email address of a person who contacted me saying he had parts for my 1940 Buick Roadmaster Coupe. Seemed legitimate until he responded offering the parts much too cheaply and saying that he wanted to do payment via a walmart 2 walmart exchange. His message came thru this forum to my email, but when I clicked to read the entire message it said no such message existed. Here is the info.

Sure sounds like a scam to me.

This is about the third or fouth time this subject has come up in the past month or so. That scammer was banned some time ago. I am assuming that your forum notification was an old one from before he was banned. When he was banned, his messages were deleted.

This email was sent to me less than a month ago. Can provide you with the email if you wish. Date was Sept. 12, 2017

We usually deal with spammers and scammers in a few hours or less. Seeing an email from a couple of weeks ago, is certainly not necessary. He was banned after you got that message. There have been several discussions about him in the past few weeks.
