1955 std steering wheel hub

Has anyone  removed the hub on a 55 std steering wheel ? Shop manual I think refers to the delx wheel .

I have a new hud and emblem  but not sure how or what seperates .

It has been awhile since I had mine apart. Do you have any photos of the parts you are replacing?

I have an NOS emblem from a standard wheel, but have never even seen one up close.

 First pictures shows the original parts on the right and the new on the left.

Second picture shows new parts install on column.

Third and fourth pictures show rubber insert that holds emblem in hub.

Firth picture shows emblem installed on wheel.

I was able to seperate the new parts by coating the rubber insert with lube .

The new emblem in the Buick parts book lists  55, 56 57 58. ?????

Apparently I have never seen a standard! Oops!
