groselle
It's time for me to spruce up the rear bumper brackets and the gravel shield on my 36 sedan. Does anyone know what color the gravel shield should be painted? I'm assuming it's black or body color. I'm leaning towards a semi gloss black. MCHinson
My personal research was on a 1937 but I am fairly sure 1936 was the same. Semi-gloss Black seems to be the general consensus. I think yours is on upside down unless the 1936 and 1937 were installed differently. While it might looks better with the bumper hardware underneath the gravel guard, that is not the way Buick installed them in 1937.
groselle
Thanks, I wasn't sure if it went at the top or bottom of the bumper.
Gary W
You might want to try this paint made by SEM. It has a very nice semi-gloss look to it!
