Guest Posted June 28, 2017 Posted June 28, 2017 Does this sound correct? Listing is unusual as it appears to show four different dashboards in the photos. Sketchy history. Your thoughts? http://www.ebay.com/itm/1939-Packard-120-Club-Sedan-/253004256004?hash=item3ae83a9304:g:ns0AAOSwvjdZSrOM&vxp=mtr
Ozstatman Posted June 28, 2017 Posted June 28, 2017 One of the dashes shown could be from the other Packard which is in the background of a couple of the photos. Also the taillights appear to be "Senior" 1940 type. The seller notes it is a 1939 Club Sedan and that none were made that year. Maybe it's a "bitzer", made up of bits of this and bits of that? Also the VIN of 1417421205 is "strange".
Packard Don Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 (edited) Note the arm-less Flying Lady ornament which was an Earle C Anthony thing so perhaps he ordered it built. The guy had clout to do about anything he wanted! Edited July 3, 2017 by Packard Don (see edit history)

tigersdad Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 Car just doesn't look right. Something about the side to where it wraps around to the back window. Too much space without glass? Can't pinpoint it (?) Jay El Dorado Hills, CA
