Rande77 Posted June 27, 2017 Author Share Posted June 27, 2017 The inner bearings were probably set wrong or failed sometime during its 84 yrs of life. A good spindle inner surface should mic out at 1.31 mine have deep grooves in them and at some point mic out at 1.24. Could get them resleeved but first looking for another set either NOS or at least in better shape than mine. All inner bearing problems, rest of the spindle going forward are good. You need to get manufacture number from parts list and reverse Id other donor models to help expand search . I can not imagine they made many different sizes .
