Will the front license plate bracket work on a 56? Mine is in pretty poor shape. I don't need it for Washington but would like to have one for a front vanity plate or a match set of 56 plates.

Benjamin, the bottom one in the picture is the 55 I am offering (nothing to write home to mom about I know)  and the upper a 56. The 56 one is available too but as you can see it is in a bit better shape than the 55. Although actually it should be cad color like the 55, don't look at me it was painted black when I bought it for a Century I had once upon a time. I paid $40 for it back then and would need to get 30 plus the ride for it.

 

For a minute there I thought you had named your car Washington.

can someone tell me what cad color is, I mean what do I ask for when shopping for the paint?

I won't begin to discuss the subject of cadmium plating, but typically cad paint can be a goldish or silverish color. This is what I have used in the past
