Spinneyhill
My drag link body is severely worn inside. It must be for a Right Hand Drive car. Overall length 798 mm = 31.42". Thank you.

Spinneyhill
Thanks for your reply Tom. I want something usable. We are not permitted to weld steering components in NZ so I need something that can be used as it is. There should be minimal wear around the key holes and especially inside around the holes. When adjusted up as per the Instruction Book, the balls in mine rise into the key holes and I can almost pull the ball out. I have spoken to Tom Hannaford at Then & Now about the internals. He has the ball and is contemplating the rest of the internals. The later button bearings may be OK if I grind most of the seats off mine and re-use the pins. I am hoping he or I can find some springs; mine are all shorter than the minimum given in the Dodge 8 Instruction Book (1.25"). The problem is, as yet I don't know the original unstressed length.
