Aussi John 1
Does anyone know where I can buy step tread frames in either raw brass state or the finished product in chrome. Aussi John 1
The frames I want are universal, they fit on the running board with a rubber mat with the company logo, (in this case Studebaker) inserted in the middle, they were usually after market, but were also marketed by the car companies as an accessory. I want to fit them to my 29 President. Studebaker shows them in their late 20s early 30s approve accessories catalogue with the rubber mat and refers to them as step plates, I also need the rubber mats. I was going to include a photo, but as I'm new to the forum, I have not yet worked out how to insert a photo. Aussi John
Guest
Have you tried these people. The Pontiac plate and mat that I have are excellent. You need to look under Studebaker for the mat and Universal for the plate. http://www.vintageandclassicreproductions.com/
