Sending threads

I do not see how to email post to other folks,am I missing something stupid,normally do?

If I want to send an email to someone to let them know about a discussion here, I simply open the discussion that I want them to see, Highlight the address of that thread in my browser address window above (such as "http://forums.aaca.org/topic/264780-sending-threads/"for this thread) and use Control C to copy the address.  I then compose an email and simply use Control V to paste the thread address into the text of the email.
