Gary_Ash
Try Then and Now Automotive in Quincy, Mass. (781) 335-8860, www.then-now.comAlso, Nelson Pease in Palmer, Mass. (413) 283-7620 You'll need to identify which tie rods you have as the ones on the Model 1A (conventional front axle) are different from the Model 2A (planar front suspension). The factory also changed tie rod and rod end part numbers on the 2A Dictators during the 1935 production year at car serial number 5,218,101. Nelson Pease can frequently match up to other tie rod ends using the dimensions of the tapered stud. He needs the diameters of the large and small end and the length between the ends. He also needs the thread diameter and pitch of the rod mounting.
